Using Time Sync to Set Clock from iPhone/iPod
The iP48 allows you to sync its clock with the time
setting on the iP48 to the time from your iPhone or recent model iPod
Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic (older iPod models such as iPod mini do not support this feature).
1. Make sure the iP48 is off. Dock your iPhone/iPod into the iP48 using the proper insert (see table on page 1).
2. Press the Button. “SYNC” will flash on the display until sync is completed. Two beeps will indicate sync is complete.
If the time sync function fails, please try again or set time manually (see below).
Note:
The iPhone is constantly updated to current time via cell phone towers. The time on your iPod is only accurate to the
last time it was synced to a computer.
It’s possible to have up to 59 seconds difference between the iP48 and synced
iPhone/iPod.
Setting Time and Clock Display Format Manually
1. Press and hold the Button (located to the left of the display) until the display flashes.
2. Press + or Button to select 12 Hour or 24 hour clock display format. Press the Button again for clock setting.
3. Press + or Button to adjust to correct time. Hold the buttons for a few seconds to advance or reverse rapidly.
Remember to set the correct AM or PM time. The PM Indicator is located on the upper right hand side of the time digits;
there is no AM indicator).
Using the Alarm
Setting the Alarm
1. Press and hold the Button until the current alarm time flashes.
2. Press the + or - Button to set the desired alarm time. Hold the buttons for a few seconds to advance or reverse rapidly.
Remember to set the correct AM or PM time.
3. Press the Button (or no button press within 10 seconds) to confirm alarm time and exit alarm setting mode.
The alarm will be armed and the alarm icon will remain on the display, indicating the alarm is active.
NOTE: If no iPhone/iPod is docked or detected, the iP48 will automatically change to buzzer alarm.
Reviewing and Turning Alarm Function On and Off
1. Press the Button once to review the set alarm time. This also toggles the alarm off (the alarm icon will disappear).
2. Press the Button again to re-arm the alarm; the alarm icon will appear again in the display.
Resetting the Alarm to Come on the Next Day
1. When the alarm is sounding, press the Button to stop the alarm and reset it to come on the following day
