Connecting the AC Adaptor
For home operation and to charge your iPhone/iPod, connect the AC adaptor cable
plug into the DC jack located under the black tab on the left side of the unit, then plug
the AC adaptor into a working outlet. When connected to the AC adaptor, the iP48
charges the internal battery and also charges and lets you play your iPod/iPhone.
NOTE: This 9V AC adaptor is for use with the iP48 only. To avoid damage, do not
use other adaptors with the iP48.
Charging the Internal Battery

When music becomes weak or distorted, charge battery
The iP48 comes with a rechargeable lithium ion battery for portable use when the unit is not connected to AC power.
The first time you connect the iP48 to AC power, keep it connected for several hours to fully charge the battery.
Battery indicators
The internal battery status indicator appears on the lower right of the display. The indicator changes depending on the battery
status and whether the unit is plugged into AC power.

The battery is not user accessible. If for any reason your battery no longer charges, please contact us.
NOTE: Unit will not charge iPod/iPhone while operating on battery power
End-Of-Life Battery Disposal Instructions:
This device uses a Lithium-ion battery that should last the lifetime of the device. If you suspect your battery may be dead,
try charging it several times. If the battery does not recharge, please contact us for repair information. Please do NOT
attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery has died and you do not want Manufacturer to replace your battery,
you should follow the disposal instructions below.
Consult local laws and regulations for proper battery disposal in your region. If there are no local regulations concerning
battery disposal, please dispose of the device in a waste bin for electronic devices.
Caution: The Battery used in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion or chemical burn if mistreated.
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like. Do not use or charge the battery if it
appears to be leaking, discolored, deformed, or in any way abnormal. Do not leave your battery discharged or unused for
extended periods of time. When batteries are misused, they may explode or leak, causing burns and personal injury. If your
battery leaks, use normal precaution and discard the battery immediately.
