Option 2: Connecting to Cable TV
antenna and/or separate indoor
terrestrial antenna
Use this connection if you have a
separate indoor digital terrestrial antenna
or want to connect your recorder to
Cable TV as well as off-air antenna.

Connect the existing Cable TV antenna
cable to the ANALOG ANTENNA
INPUT socket on the recorder.

Connect the digital terrestrial antenna
cable to the DIGITAL ANTENNA
INPUT socket on the recorder.
C Connect a RF antenna cable (supplied)
from the TO TV ANTENNA INPUT
socket on the recorder to the
antenna input socket on your TV (usually
labelled as ANT, ANTENNA IN, RF IN).
Helpful Hint:
– Only free-to-air digital TV channels can be
received (no reception of ‘conditional access’
/ Smartcard channels).
