Connecting the Computer Cable
Follow these steps to connect the computer cable. You may not need
to use the adapter as shown.
1. Disconnect the monitor cable from the video port on the back of
the Macintosh.
2. Connect one end of the computer cable to the projector’s
Computer/Component Video port, as shown.
3. Connect the other end of the computer cable to the video port on
the Macintosh.
4. If it doesn’t fit, you may have to use a Macintosh desktop adapter,
which you can buy from EPSON (see page 7).
To use the adapter, remove its cover as
shown and set its DIP switches according
to the resolution you want to use, such as
16-inch mode. See your Macintosh
documentation for instructions.
Replace the cover and connect the
adapter to the free end of the computer
video cable. Then plug the cable (with
the adapter) into the video port on your
Macintosh.
5. Tighten the screws on the connectors.
