The MSN Direct receiver must be connected to
your Garmin GPS navigator and your vehicle’s
power outlet.
You must be in an MSN Direct coverage area (see
http://garmin.msndirect.com/coverage).

information. Garmin’s standard Limited Warranty applies

Activating MSN Direct
NOTE: When you rst activate your receiver, you must
specify a primary location and a current region. The
primary location is the area you will use the device most
often. The current region refers to your current location
where the activation key will be broadcast.

The MSN Direct receiver provides MSN Direct content
such as trafc, weather, gas prices, and movie times. For
more information about MSN Direct, see http://garmin
.msndirect.com or www.garmin.com.
The MSN Direct receiver replaces the vehicle power
cable/trafc receiver that came with your Garmin GPS
navigator.
To receive MSN Direct content:
You must update the software on your Garmin GPS
navigator (see www.garmin.com).
Your MSN Direct receiver must be activated.
